Online Postnatal Infant Feeding Support Consultation

A one to one online breastfeeding support consultation. As an experience private midwife and tongue tie practitioner, I have supported many new mums in their feeding journey.

I am now offering online support to families that are too far away to access my in person consultations.

During our consultation I will chat to you about your feeding journey so far. I will observe you feeding and give practical guidance on any issues you may be having with your breastfeeding journey. You will be given the chance to ask any questions that you might have.

After the consultation I will email a pdf of my booklet on infant feeding for you to read at your leisure.

During our consultation, if I feel you need referring I will arrange if you so wish or point you in the right direction in order that you can access the care you need for you and you baby.

Online Prenatal Infant feeding Preperation Consultation

A one to one online consultation with me Angie, an experienced private midwife and tongue tie practitioner. I have guided many families through their pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey.

I am passionate that breastfeeding education should start in the prenatal period. Having a good understanding of what expect is crucial to getting breast feeding off to a good start. Post birth is not the optimal time to be learning this information. You may be tired and therefore the information may not go in quite readily. Being able to practice and understand about breastfeeding, well before baby is born will give you the tools to get things off to the best start.

I will be giving practical advice on good positioning and attachment, knowing when baby is and isn’t attached correctly, hand expression, discussing how you will know you baby is getting enough and give you a chance to ask any questions that you might have.

During our consultation I will demonstrate positioning and attachment using a doll, wooly breast and puppet. It may help you to grasp good positioning by having a doll or teddy bear of you own at hand and I can give pointers on how to positioning baby effectively.

After the consultation I will send you a pdf of my infant feeding booklet, which goes through the practical advice that we have discussed in order that you can read at your leisure and feel comfortable about breast feeding before you baby arrives.

Online Birth Preparation Consultation

A one to one online consultation with me Angie, an experienced private midwife. I have guided many families through their pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey.

As part of the care i provide, I feel it is important to have a really in depth chat about birth. This includes birth choices, what to expect, coping strategies, pain relief etc and help you to formulate a birth plan, feeling well informed and in control own birth experience. It’s a chance for to ask any questions and elevate any worries you might have prior to your birth.

I am now offering this online as I have been asked to talk to families that are too far away for me to travel. I fully encourage you to have your partners with you at this online meeting, as they will be there to support you during your birth and having the knowledge of what to expect and how they can help support you can hugely help you both to have a more fulfilling birth experience.

If your birth plan does not fit with your local trusts guidelines, due to a risk factor, this may need to be discussed further with the consultant midwife at your local trust. This may involve me contacting them on your behalf if you so wish me to do so or alternatively I will direct you to the right person to speak to, in order that you can have a full discussion on risks and benefits and an individual birth plan put in place ready for your birth.

After our consultation I will email a PDF of my booklet on labour and birth, in order that you can read at your leisure and feel full informed and prepared for your birth.

Online Postnatal Midwifery Consultation

You may have worries or concerns regarding your pregnancy, want to chat through your options for your care & birth or maybe want some advice on safe use of aromatherapy’s in pregnancy and labour. Whatever you want to discuss, however big or small I am more than happy to have a confidential chat that is personal and individual to your needs. I often get asked questions with the pre cursor “this may seem like a silly question” If it’s on your mind and you are worried then it isn’t. Google is a mine field if misinformation and so if something is on your mind it needs to be asked.

Hi, my name is Angie. I am a registered Private Midwife & specialist pregnancy/postnatal massage therapist.

Due to interest in my services from clients further a field wanting my advice, I am now offering online consultations on all aspects of pregnancy, labour and postpartum queries, whether that be a few simple question that you feel need answering or a full birth chat, infant feeding chat, or even advice on safe usage of aromatherapy in pregnancy and labour. I am passionate about the benefits of massage in both the antenatal and postnatal period. I am a fully trained massage therapist and have a specialised knowledge of safe use of aromatherapy oils in pregnancy. I am also a trainer for massage in pregnancy for Hydrotherm and all of my therapies are provided on the luxury Hydrotherm massage, at my therapy room here in Redditch.
